I bought some Himalayan rock salt for our grinder a few months ago. Noticed it was out of date when we got it home. Despite being millions of years old the second salt is put into a plastic packet it suddenly has a 6 month shelf life. Both myself and my wife are luckily still alive after our close shave with potential death.

If it’s alcohol based sanitizer it won’t go off ever

When you say out of date, what you really mean is the product guarantee date. If they look ok just use them.

Out of date hand sanitiser? I would Lawyer up if I were you. Perhaps consider a class action? You may not be the only victim here.
