Upcycling motorbike helmet

Father in law was a petrol head, biker, grass track racer in his youth etc.

sadly he passed away 10 years ago but i insisted we hang onto one of his bike helmets. its a shark job, with some cool cartoony racing bike graphics.

we'e hung onto it all these years and I'm now wondering if there was something we could do with it? has anyone ever upcycled a helmet into something cool? i had thought about a light, some kind of downlighter.standard lamp?

I'd love to be able todo something with it to keep his memory alive for his grandsons.

any ideas?

Im sure you could get a manequin head in clear plastic and mount a light in it.

You could paint the clear head just leaving the eyes, or mount some sort of projector torch lens thingy in the eye sockets.
