You could find yourself in a bit of trouble with the United Nations over that one. As you're doubtless aware, the United Kingdom was one of the initial signatories to the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies, coming into force in October 1967, which included the following:

• States shall avoid harmful contamination of space and celestial bodies.

I'm pretty sure attempting to dispose of toxic orange turd buckets by strapping them to a booster and pressing the big red launch button - however appealing that might seem - will fall foul of that clause.

Virgin Galactic is incapable of a one-way journey to space. It, and whatever is inside will have to come back - one way or the other.

Not exactly on topic, but I always say to people that if I was offered the chance to go to mars or the moon, with the caveat being that it was a one way trip, I'd do it. I think I'd be content having seen space.

Same here. I'd be more than happy to give away the rest of my days to follow in the steps of Neil Armstrong but not get the journey home. Couple of moonwalks then just sit and listen to the music of Mozart in the lunar module before taking a sleepy pill to not wake up from.

Incapable. It cannot travel fast enough to either achieve earth orbit ( 17,500 mph) or escape earth’s gravitational pull (25,000 mph).

The maximum speed obtainable is “only” around 3,000 mph.
