Blaroken clothing; have seen their adverts on several motoring forums and needed a new baseball cap and so ordered that and a couple of T-shirts... then read the reviews Generally around the 1* end of the scale. Anyone here had any real world experience of them?

I'm hoping that the reviews are from people who think that if socks cost less than three figures that they must be rubbish, irrespective of the actual quality.

Nothing to be done now, but just read the reviews before you order anything.

Rogue site, dreadful quality clothes, avoid. I ordered a pair of shorts which looked brilliant on website, received a pair which did not resemble product advertised and did not fit, no refund has been forthcoming. Very, very dodgy.

Sounds like their advertising has paid off.

I see lots of this tat masquerading as 'premium' or 'designer' products - but as I'm not a premium or designer clothes person, it's easy to ignore!

It's another of these Chinese sweat shop suppliers that keep popping up on Facebook and elsewhere, 'tat' is to be expected.

#metoo. I didn't buy because I thought it was cheap designer gear. I guess most of the motorsport brands are having copyright/trademarks infringed. I just wanted something motorsporty when working on the car, not nightclub quality. Sometimes negative reiews are because of high expectations so i was looking for some real world experience and to potentially warn others.

I'm expecting tat but liked the design. I don't expect it to be much worse than the RL T shirt I bought recently tough, absolutely terrible, crap stitching, mis-shapen after one wash and cost twice as much.

Highly likely. Chinese manufacturers all seem to use multiple reassuring style brand names to advertise, sell tat and then move on leaving disgruntled customers behind them.

Stumbled across Red Torpedo when looking for a Guy Martin t-shirt 4 or 5 years ago

Quality is great, still wear it and its not faded or stretched out. Not a massive selection of products, but some motorsport/rider affiliated items.

No personal connection or affiliation, just a recommendation.

Either Blaroken changed its name to Wayrates or they're selling the same stock and using the same images, not looking good

Seen these and yeah Yokemart is the same. My guess is t shirts will be paper thin and st. But the designs are appealing motorsport ones anyway. I have bought cheap compression gear off Amazon before to do tough mudders (they get ripped on the wire). An fit is always off so seldom wear again.

My GT40 t-shirt arrived. Really good design but, of course, horrendous material and manufacture.Fits well though and will be worn at some point,

These pop up under numberous different company names on Facebook.

I've come to the conclusion that most Facebook ads are Chinese scammers. Unless it's a known company and I've been on their website.

So many duplicates with different names, so many 'sadly we are closing down' adverts, all bks.

Five minutes of searching finds most of their stock on one of the Chinese wholesale websites for around £3 per t shirt. One would assume that with 2 week delivery times they're just drop shipping stuff from China and putting a premium on top.
