One thing puzzles me. If these are indeed his work, how does he paint them without being spotted?

You can't knock one of these up in two minutes.

He has a team, uses stencils, probably doesn't even spray them himself anymore. He just churns they out like a factory but idiots to lap them up.

The model village one he would have got permission. He was orginal 20 years ago, now it is a bit tiresome.

I love his artwork did one at work years ago "love is in the air" two marker pens and a few bits of paper nice to look at when you were having a number 2 in trap 3.

Saw an interesting documentary a few years ago about the two of them.
Blek was the originator.
Banksy took the idea to mainstream success.

Sad story of his life though, Blek.

Watch exit through the gift shop and you will see how he does it, lots of stencils and premade bits that they almost wallpaper onto the wall.

Im on holiday in Great Yarmouth at the moment and saw this today.





It's not exactly exciting. But it seems to be earning the model village some more money. We didn't go there because of it, already had our trip planned.

I was puzzled for a while as to how the artist can get the proper perspective, but stumbled upon a mural being painted on the side of a building. They put right angles in different orientations to locate parts of the painting. Love Banksy's work and his messages.

There is a music video from the band Rise Against (I forget the name) but they pull a huge truck up to a wall, roll up the trailer’s canvas and spray paint in total privacy.

Not saying that’s how Bansky does it, just giving an idea of how it could be done.

I had a quick look at it and decided it probably wasn't a Banksy.

Well, there’s bound to be CCTV footage of that camper van he was travelling around in (as seen in his Instagram video), so unless he removed the number plates, or used fake ones, you would have thought it should be relatively easy to track him down.

Because people aren't stupid. They know there's money to be had when there's a banksy on their property.

I’m a fan.

I think his art is accessible and adds interest to some pretty bleak places.

Not on the list, but the one on the Highway in London has also been painted over



I'm not a fan of Banksy, but that one was brilliant. The Highway is a major route out of London. I used to pass it every day on the way home, and the image often reflected my mood.
