Help identifying a US Military uniform from the 1960s

I need some help in identifying this US Military uniform from the late 1960s.

If anyone can tell me which service it pertains to, and any other possible useful details, I would be most grateful.

Looks like a standard US army formal uniform. Without badges /rank its going to be difficult to narrow down any more.

Is it odd that there are no medals? I understand that medals are awarded in the US for passing basis training - I have never seen a US service person without medals. Maybe it was taken on the first day of training or maybe a generic uniform that the photographer had for an ID card pic (they have jackets and shirts sewn up at the front and split at the back to allow them to process huge numbers of people quickly), so maybe 'Army' is as close as you are going to get.

That pic is from around 1966/7 and is a specific time of interest to me.

What does the Class A's reference mean?

So looking at the pic in the link (posted below), yes it seems to be an identical setting/theme. And reading the text I'm wondering if that style of pic was for the 'Drafted to Vietnam' men. If that was the case then it becomes highly significant to me. Can anyone shed some more light on whether that kind of pic was specifically for the Vietnam bound guys?
