Never knowingly had this before, so bear with me if it's a more common
occurrence.

Couldn't sleep very well last night for whatever reason but drifted off briefly in the early hours.

Was in a dream which had me walking up the High Road (with a metal bicycle pump in my hand confused) and I approached a bench with a couple of blokes sitting there, one of which stuck his foot out tried to trip me up.

I reacted with some choice words and one of them came up close to me.

Next thing is my fist is swinging out of the bed and towards the bedside cabinet and my missus is yelping in shock. laugh

Luckily I didn't hit the cabinet and woke up looking like this: eek

Anybody else have/had this? Do I need to see a psychiatrist?
Do I need a straitjacket at night now?

It was so bizzarre.

Cool story bro and all that. smile

If you see a toilet in any dream you're having, never use it.

Back when I was an early teen I had a vivid dream that Jordan (katie price) had invited me onto her private yacht for a drink and good old soapy t itw ank.
Its fair to say a few seconds later I woke up with some pretty messed up boxer shorts.

Like the poster said above. Never trust a toilet or a dirty woman in dream biggrin

It's quite common, In a twist of bitter irony my step-dad suddenly roared and sleep-punched my mum in the face when he was having a dream about a group of chavs harassing her and yelling the vile abuse we are all so familiar with.

His best friend had an "interesting" dream commanding an army of monkeys against the Romans ala the opening scene of Gladiator which ended in him sitting bolt upright yelling TAKE TO THE TREES! TAKE TO THE TREES! at the top of his voice until is wife got him to wake up hehe

Personally the only dream I ended up somewhere unexpected was falling off Ayer's Rock after I tried climbing it in wellington boots, when I hit the ground I woke up om my bedroom floor.

When I was younger I had a dream I rolled off the sofa. What I actually rolled out of was my bunk bed and hit my bedroom floor! The bang was quite something apparently.

When I first met my wife we went away to Weymouth for a weekend. Weymouth has a lift bridge to allow boats to pass under it. It lifts vertically up. That night, I dreamt that my wife was trying to walk over the bridge when it was lifting. In my dream, I grabbed her legs to pull her back to safety. In reality, I grabbed her legs and wouldn't let go, and it took her screaming at me to let go for me to let go! We got some looks at breakfast the next morning. Amazingly she stuck with me, considering she had only met me a month or so previously and had grounds to assume I was a lunatic!

I thought this would be a thread about wet dreams.

They are the most vivid, without doubt.

I woke up stark bk naked about 3am in the hallway back at my mum and dads house once. My finger was on the first number of the burglar alarm code, with the alarm wailing like a banshee! The only thing that woke me was my mum quite literally whispering my name as she got 1/2 way down the stairs - I remember being bolt upright immediately, as if she was waking me up for school again, wondering wtf was going on and why this noise was happening!

That was a long walk home - I’d moved out 6 months earlier. God knows where I’d put the door keys and I’ve not found my clothes to this day.

I remember once dreaming I was on the Jeremy Kyle show and shouting at him about wanting a lie detector test.

Then I woke up to find I was actually shouting at my girlfriend about wanting a lie detector test.

She'd actually been watching JK in bed, on her laptop while I was asleep.

I said to her, "Don't ever watch the footy while I'm asleep, I'll probably kick you out of bed and shout GOAL!" That didn't go down very well, no sense of humour some people.

You know its a good one when you wake up with your arm or leg dropping back onto tbe bed where youve kicked out in response to the images in the dream.

Certainly the more tired or more mentally ill i hve been, the more vivid dreams i have had. Its not just imagery though but sometimes you can smell in the dream too which is even more odd.

I had a weird one a while back. i was reading about Formula 1 in the early 90s and prequalifying the day before. Anyway had some pints and went to bed and i dreamt i was driving a Larrouse or one of those st backmarker cars and it poured rain all weekend and i was on pole. anyway race day came and it was dry to i pulled the car into the middle of the road and trotted around the circuit and no one could pass me. A few cars blew up because i was going so slow (dont ask me why or how or the science - its my dream).

Anyway Nelson Pique picked a fight with me on the podium and i beat him up on front of the prince with a Vice grip wrench. The BBC were pissed and complaining that the race was so long that EastEnders omnibus had to be cancelled. I had a half tank of fuel left and the original tyres having never pitted.

Instead of beating Pique over the head with a wrench i was in reality beating the pillow.

Years ago I lodged with a mate and his wife to be. I was working shifts and had just done a 10pm - 6am, came home and rolled myself a small spliff as it relaxed me and helped me get to sleep, especially when it was daylight. It was already sunny and going to be a lovely summers Saturday! Got to bed and dropped off to sleep really quickly.

I dreamt that we were visited by aliens and they were actually benevolent, and had promised us an FTL Drive for space travel, unlimited clean energy, a cure for cancer, the works. Real Star Trek stuff and really vivid, I was loving it in the dream! Woke up really excited, wanting to see the spacecraft that were hovering in the skies all over the world, what a day to be alive!! Pulled on my jeans and ran downstairs, BANG, straight into the patio doors, leaving a greasy smear were my forehead connected. Dragged to doors open and ran onto the patio were my mates were pissing themselves laughing at me!! I asked them were the aliens had gone and very nearly cried when they finally convinced me I'd been dreaming!! I remember being pissed off for most of the day!! Mates thought it was hilarious
That was the most vivid dream I can remember although I was Bodie of The Professionals once, with another mate as Doyle!
Don't remember dreams as much nowadays, unfortunately frown

I always thought dreams were based on your experiences and day to day activities, which is explains why i never have any!
