Unless the process has changed you end up with a ‘Camelot account’ which I think is set up and managed by a team at either HSBC or NatWest. Do they actually transfer £184m to your little Natwest current account or do they open a special account up for you somewhere?

In theory. Go to work for a month or so, hand in notice and quietly leave claiming I had a new job.
In reality. Go to work for a few days. Explode at the first sign of aggro and walk out there and then.
Buy a nice large house, do up to my taste and move in.
I'd look to travel a lot and help family and those less fortunate out. I enjoy running and cycling so i'd spend a good chunk of time being a "professional" amateur athlete travelling the world doing all the various bucket list races and events.
