Usually posts about dreams are about weird stuff or nightmares, I've read plenty about night hags and sleep paralysis etc but there must be good stuff that happens when you are asleep too.

For me I think it was a few weeks ago, in the dream I was walking down the road in a town I used to live and I was with somebody, not sure who and I'm not sure when but I think I was an adult. We turned round a corner and there was a petrol station in front of us, it got demolished when I was still a kid but in the dream it was right there in front of us looking exactly like it did back then, even down to the petrol prices.

Just for a fleeting moment I thought wow, its 1978 again and I've got a second chance to start over. It didn't last very long as I woke up and thought ah st! Not sure why the petrol station was so significant but I did used to walk past it fairly often as a kid, other than that it means nothing to me really.

Depressing, but conversations with people who aren't here anymore. They're the ones I'd give a lot for just 5 more minutes asleep.

I dreamt Burger King opened a more upmarket than usual restaurant in Maidenhead earlier this week, it had black and gold signage and I was the first customer!

Perhaps not THE best dream I have had , but it’s up there

I have a recurring dream of sorts. Different things happens but

Always set in the same place, which as far as I can work out is just a mush mash of loads of places I've been

I always wake up happy feeling like I've had a visit to where I grew up and been a kid again, even though the place isn't real

This, similar situation.

And also the one where I can fly

Not forgetting the one I still remember from when I was about 13 in the seventies, where I tackled a burglar to the ground only to discover it was Kate O'Mara in a black leather catsuit!

Town centre location so no drive-thru but I will be sure to suggest it if I’m lucky enough to visit again.

I had a dream in my 20s where I took off my head, held it in my hands and looked down at the top of it. (No idea what with.) I wonder if it was concern about going bald?

where we left the nasty EU guided by Saint Farage

then this big illness came and went.

and all was lovely in the land of honey and clover, with lots of petrol, truck drivers, toilet rolls, all the (clap for them) nurses got £100k PA and gas and electric were just £10 a month.

am I doing this right ?

I used to get Kirkland sleeping tablets off eBay. Great little things but my word the vivid dreams I had were something else.

Once I had a sex change. I was then experimenting on my newly acquired lady part and various sized kitchen utensils.

Is the first paragraph in response to the thread title, and the second one completely unrelated and perhaps worthy of a thread of its own? laugh

You need to watch “The Office”, that’s where he stole the reference
