Mens Denim Jean - where to buy?!

Hi guys,
Bit random, where are we buying jeans from these days? Happy to spend money on decent pairs.
I have two pairs from Levi's, both now split in the crotch - I put the first down to maybe being a bad batch, but the second has just made me think the're not as good quality as they used to be.
(Before anyone says it, I realise I'm no olympic athlete, but the size I bought is the size I actually am!!

Primark, that’s my go to place, every 6 months I go and maybe pick out a few items. For clarity the clothes don’t last 6 months that just my frequency of clothes shopping, most seem to last years
The quality is good and the fashion is about right.
Get some slim fit jeans. Very figure dependant (if your a hat wearing glory muscle gym goer don’t do it)
Resume normal PH life and wear shorts everyday. Ps shorts life is the secret key to happiness. Even through winter I’ll be wearing them, plus you look a bit sportier and if you need to run you can.
PS this is not fashion advice, merely advice, I’m not the coolest 29 year old hahaha I just want to look reasonable and spend money on other things (nothing against if you do or don’t). Think of it as buying a warm hatch, not all out but nice enough.

I find Diesel pretty good.
Expensive but can be found on sale for 60ish from John Lewis, HoF etc. My two pairs are 3 years old and look like new, I can't imagine buying jeans every 6 months like the poster above.

I found wranglers/Levi's wearing through quickly and have switched to Jack and Jones, they have daft names but "Mike" is a regular cut, boxy is a baggy cut.
They have a few of their own stores and I think you can get them in house of Fraser, or buy online direct or look for a bargain on m and m.

I'm 3 months of daily wear in to a pair of Iron Heart 888's at the minute and they are wearing in very, very well. I can see already that the fades I am going to get after their 1st wash are going to be mega.
They are a heavyweight denim at 21oz. So if heavy weight denim isn't for you I'd give them a swerve, but after wearing RRL's, Pure Blue Japan previously the Iron Hearts are head and shoulders above everything else for fit, quality and the way they are wearing in.
They aren't cheap though so won't be for everyone. But if you check out Rivet and Hide online, or in their Manchester store am sure you will get sorted.

Yes. With raw denim, washing as infrequently as possible is said to produce the most high-contrast fades by allowing the areas creasing longer to lose their indigo dye before taking some of the dye off the darker areas. For 21oz denim like the Iron Heart 888, the idea of doing actual labour is fairly unlikely. I'm not saying it can't be done but the jeans will be very rigid. Thus, you can get away without washing them for ages. With a few years of wear the end results can be very cool looking.
Interestingly enough, if you look online it's the advice of the Levi's CEO to wash denim infrequently. Even sanforized denim benefits from infrequent washing, apparently.

Alas, I haven't owned a pair of raw denim jeans in a few years now, so there's not much evolution in how mine wear in! Straight into the wash with nary a care in the world. If I hadn't worn the pair of APC New Standard I owned until they fell apart (what can I say, I get my money's worth) then I'd probably still be wearing them. At some point I do want to buy a pair of the Levi's Vintage Clothing 501s, but I've been saying that for years and haven't taken the plunge..I know the arguments BTW, but I hope you have your smelly jeans are on a well aired rotation.
As for the OP, I found Gap were pretty spot on although I believe all UK stores have closed? One thing I appreciated was that they had decently sized pockets.
