Yes, traditionally they used to have two smaller holes either side for hands/arms, then a larger one for heads in the middle. You get locked in and then the locals are invited to throw, i think traditionally, rotten fruit and veg at you.Some variations like this one might be hands and feet through which would be excrutiating at a guess, i might be old but i'm not old enough to have ever been in a set of stocks.
