To keep the momentum going happy to hear what you gifted to others or you were in turn gifted for Christmas.

But what the hell did I get in my Christmas Cracker?

It’s plastic. Hinged and has a hook. It’s not very strong and the hinge comes apart fairly easily. What the hell is it?

Looks like a phone stand. Maybe for if you are watching a film on a train that has a table in front of you to prop it up.

Edit - found a pic

In addition to my new phone stand I have an awesome pair of wellies. Literally my new go to boot. Not only functional for boat life but hose them off and I can dress them up.

Merry Christmas.

Air Pods
Gumbies - slippers
Personalised charging stand.

Step son - Ring door bell for his mum & I

Jumper from # 2 step daughter

Cheap chocolates from # 1 step daughter

Voucher from my brother

I'm happy with what i got, i'm not really materialistic anymore and i'd have been happy with socks, pants and the gumbies, so chuffed with what i did get

The wife got the same, I had to cook Christmas dinner. I think I did a good job and it stopped me from getting pissed too early!

They weren’t in a cracker but the thread would be dead after Cotty’s post.

With you Slopes - I didn’t want anything and asked not to be bought anything as I need to compact my life as hopefully moving on to a barge in next twelve months. I now have more make-up and hair products than I’ve had in almost fifty years in just one day. Clothes, cat socks, cat glasses, cat cushions, chocolate, perfume, clothes, and numerous gift vouchers and cards etc. perks of rescuing, fostering, modelling and PR haha.

Sorry to hear about the gift of Covid. Hope you all manage to to feel better soon and survive your quarantine.

A bar of chocolate
Some ginger biscuits
A water bottle to use when I play tennis
A book

A bumper year!

To be fair I did say they didn’t need to bother as if there is anything I need or want I can buy it myself.

Perhaps there should be a thread about what you bought for others. I got my wife a creative writing course and organised some harp lessons for my daughter. Both were unexpected and very well received.

That wine looked like an ace gift for a mate. Just searched it and he's not that good a mate.

I’ve edited my OP. It was just initially to ask what the Cracker surprise was. Happy for it to continue in any form.

amongst things I gifted other half a torch after reading that stupid 200 page PH Torch thread. I’ve now bought him a second torch. This is unhealthy.
