What one small thing can we all do at no real impact or inconvenience to ourselves (or perhaps a characteristic that we show) that would make the world generally a better place?

It should be something that's just as easy to do as not do (so no reason not to do it) but will make the biggest impact to our own and other lives if we make this change.

Many thanks in advance.

Maybe report all major potholes as you come across them? Seems an easy way to pass on some good karma to others.

stop posters arguing with each other and end mob-posting should some one have a different view.

Stop driving in huge convoys on single track roads.

Would make our lives here a whole heap better.

Totally agree with abolishing religion but it's hardly a small thing!

How about manners? More please and thank yous. More consideration for people around you in day to day life. More respect of people's personal experiences and how that has shaped their views. More tolerance.

I sound like a fking hippy! hippy

But I do think I'm becoming more relaxed and tolerant as I get older. Which seems to be the opposite of what people would have you believe.

Smile at people.

Easy, free and makes the world a nicer place. Or you get on a register for being a perve; one of the two.

If only I could, but they is beyond the scope of what we can individually do.

What we can do is courteously and with genuine compassion, help emancipate those that are caught prisoner within religion though compelling and thought provoking reasoning.

I would say the one thing we could all do is to make sure we minimise our negative impact on others where possible. Often simple to do, but really makes a difference.

The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience…I will dispense this advice now.

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh nevermind; you will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded.
But trust me, in 20 years you'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked….You're not as fat as you imagine.

Don't worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing
bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm
on some idle Tuesday.

Do one thing everyday that scares you.

That's the kind of faux philosophy bullst you could read on any self help web page you like, it's pretty impossible unless you're so timid the idea of venturing to the middle of Lidl is the kind of thing that scares you hehe
