I struggled with the same at christmas. The best I could come up with was a nice kitchen knife or bbq charcoal. I got the coal.

Cheers for the suggestions. Maybe the kitchen knife - had the old one for years, cost about £12 from John Lewis, I think.

Their ham and mustard are good, the only "posh" brand of crisp I rate.

My go-to £30 gift idea is a stunt kite. HQ are good.

I'm currently in a similar position, my birthday in just over a week and I get the same questions from family, i don't drink either which I guess limits options.

Currently my wife is buying me some new car mats and some driving shoes as I do enjoy track days and I fancied some.

I think my parents and sister are just buying me gift vouchers for Next as that's all I could think of and I have lost weight since last summer so need new shorts etc.

I'm 41 this time and I find as I get older I tend to want less and what I want I can usually just go and buy it within reason

Yup, same here. Nice problem to have really.

Some good ideas suggested - I'd forgotten there was such a thing as stunt kites. I remember I was a kid when they first came out.

Anything to get you out, so you stop being so boring for a day or few days.
