Buying from china on e bay

Ordered some new hinges for the toilet seat, e bay were the cheapest, should have checked supplier, it was Chinese company.
Getting inundated with e mails, scams I suppose, new version of software for e mail, others too, dunno what they are for I just delete them.
Never again will I order from e bay and Chinese supplier, lesson learnt, annoyed with myself.

It is on e bay, received e mails from supplier to say it was on its way, then delivery company advised eta.
Finally supplier advised it had been delivered.
Cannot complain about supplier’s service, items and service excellent but unwanted e mails are pita.
Sky recognises them straight to scam folder.

Seems an odd complaint. Most/all shops online email you to say it's on it's way and then delivered. Finally supplier advised it had been delivered.

If you're really lucky you get one set of emails from the shop you bought from, and a second set of almost identical emails from the courier company telling you the same information!
Gumtree are worse, put an advert on there and you get a phone call within a minute.
I must be on their blacklist, they have stopped calling, believe me I do not take prisoners for scammers they take all the abuse I can give them. If the phone call is suspect I talk like an elderly person and string them along until it comes down to the point of asking for money, then I give them abuse at full volume, does the trick apparently cos they hang up!

A lot of the cheaper suppliers on ebay are china based with warehouses in the UK. You can see from their address, and the fact that they respond to emails out of UK normal hours. I have never had trouble with these UK based china suppliers so have no issue with them.
I do always set the location to UK only in ebay before searching as it cuts down on delivery time.
