I need to buy a new pair of casual shoes and Im keen to have inner leather as my feet tend to sweat but almost all the shows are inner fabric or goretex which i dont want

following are the designs that would do but with inner leather lining

https://www.clarks.co.uk/c/Rockie2-LoGTX/p/2616137...

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Skechers-Diameter-Murilo-...

Or can you recommend any reasonably priced made to measure handmade shoe manufacturers

I am going to instruct the wife to shoot me if I ever start to take an interest in shoes like either of those.

Just get some leather insoles like these:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Genuine-Natural-Leather-I...

Take out the manufacturer's one and replace them with the above or similar.

Go with the Skechers. You wont get comfier for everyday wear for the price.
Most bar/waiting staff swear by skechers these days for footwear as they are so comfy.

Totally agree, once you consider owning a pair of Sketchers, you have effectively given up on life.

Those Clarks are especially hideous.

Still utterly hideous, just now they are expensive and hideous. This is all new to me, I didn't realise there was such a big market for ugly shoes.

Good grief do people actually buy st like this?

Carboy

Have you tried Geox…geox.com probably

All sorts of styles and I’m sure I have a couple of pairs which are all leather…
They work by a patented system of ventilation through the sole..

Really high quality shoes that look good as well.
Leather linings and natural materials.
Pricey though.

The OP won't be pulling those off (oh-er misses), based on his initial thinking. Too plain. Perhaps a Oliver Sweeney?

Based on the offerings, I'd steer the OP towards a Timberland or Redwing (if budget allows). The Skethchers look like they belong to the local child molester.

The other casual shoe that springs to mind is Campers, you can customise the Pelotas.

They do look a lot like the sort of shoes you get in those catalogues you get in the Sunday papers that sell gadgets for getting lids off and little seats for the shower
