I use Amazon uk quite a lot,but i'm completely stumped.I have a fair few items in my basket,i basically use it to save things i have my eye on.
From memory, usually if i want to pay for one item in my basket i click on it,then continue, pay etc and get on with my life, but today, computer says no!
I'm just going round in a circle here,add to basket,add to basket,add to basket.......,no payment screen??Anyone help?

I think what you were possibly doing originally was to look at your basket, then click on the item, thus taking you back to the item's own page, where you were then clicking "buy it now" - when you do this, Amazon is smart enough to remove it from your basket.

I do it all the time.

I've had this before now and never got to the bottom of it.
I choose an item and try and buy it but it never takes me to the checkout.

You might be better using the wishlist than the basket to store things though.

I use the mobile app and there is a save for later button on all items in the basket.
It leaves stuff in the basket but removed from it, if that makes sense.

Hmmm ... working for me (just tried it). I do seem to remember one day thinking "that's odd" and suspect I was having an experience similar to yourself, but it was a while ago and it's not happening any more!

I just keep anything I'm interested in in a wish list, seems an easier way to keep track and then purchase when ready
