Mould on carport roof

Anyone know how to stop black mould on a corrugated plastic carport roof? It stops the light getting through and makes the carport dark.
I cleaned mine a year ago with a power washer but it has returned already, I intend using jeyes fluid at appropriate strength. Will it last? Or does anyone know of a better way?
