My mum had a brilliant idea to move a snake from the middle of the road so it doesn’t get run over. This is the person who screams when she sees a spider.
The snake was quite happy in the middle of the road (perhaps wanting to get run over?) and decided to take a bite out of my mums hand. Turns out it was an Adder. Whoops!
Trip down to hospital, anti venom given, discharged. Back in two days later as the infection has continued up her arm (arm looked like it was badly fake tanned due to the bruise!).
As she didn’t die or lose her arm I feel it’s now OK to take the piss as much as possible.
So, any snake based Christmas and birthday present ideas are wanted! Of course she’ll be getting Snakebite at some point!

I actually bought my mother a snake as a present. A royal Python. It was a bit cheeky as I already had one snake (an African rock Python) and wanted a second and thought (rightly) it would be less of a problem if I bought it for my mum. To be fair when I left home I sold my Rock Python but left her with the Royal Python. She later the left the U.K. and donated it to Whipsnade zoo.
These days I am not so sure it is right to keep snakes as pets but the Royal Python was a great pet. They were very easy to look after and as they only grow to about four feet are not dangerous.

I was watching Snakes in the city last night and was wondering if anybody on here had been bitten by any venomous snakes!
Spiders, bee and scorpion stings/bites, on a regular basis, but never been bitten by a snake. I often hear the warning rattle from a diamondback, but I always heed the warning and go another way. So far so good, but now you mention it maybe time for a Walmart visit

Those suction cups look ideal for pulling dents on a car rather than a generic plunger....
