I know, hot topic for a Sunday evening... silly

Got this in a freebie bag today, but I can't work out why it's so elaborate, or so big! My only thought is that it's so it's memorable or sparks online chats like this*.

*I saw that coming, they won't get free publicity from me!

It's a thing for opening doors without touching the handle. Somebody else will know what it's called

We have one similar - all the rage during covid, so that you didn’t need to touch door handles etc.

Bloody nuisance on car keys

But then you have to touch the covid infested death trap gimmick to put it in or out of a pocket/bag etc, so ultimately a complete waste of time. But you knew that already!

Oh don't. When COVID started my borderline obsessive and neurotic elderly mum would go to the supermarket in a mask and gloves, then get back to the car, open door, get in and remove said equipment in the safety of the car. Completely missing the fact she was just collecting germs from the shop and smearing them over her door handle and interior. Wouldn't listen to sense of just use your hands but use hand gel.

It's monkey pox now.

Touch tools are universally used by those who wear a mask whilst driving their own car solo.

Proper ones are of course made of brass for its anti microbial properties.

So don't bum monkey's then hehe

I have a similar keyring but that had a belt loop and like an extendable dog lead type arrangement. The wife bought it to try and protect me due to ill health/classed as vulnerable by the hospital etc but it's been sat in a drawer for god knows how long and it still didn't stop me catching covid - twice!
