Hi everyone I thought it would be a good idea to get a threat for christmas gift ideas for 'car' people.

My brother is a mechanic and has a rally car and I'm really struggling for a christmas gift idea for him this year!

This thread might help others out too!

if he has a rally car, get him some tyres, or oil, or brake pads. He will be happy...

Also try robemcdonald on Insta, on here with the “I have been doing a bit of painting” thread. Absolutely bloody brilliant! I’ve got half a dozen of his bits and he’d do an awesome job of your mate’s car in action

car gifts from non car people tend to suck

why not just ask him and save all the hassle ...box of oil filters or a spanner he actually needs etc

Thanks everyone

Just to clarify - I’m not a ‘non car guy’ myself. I rally a similar car to him and we both run similar spec engines etc. We tend to keep a good ‘stock’ of consumables as a few have suggested.

It just gets harder every year to think of a nice, unique present for him!

I love the art pieces - got a print of this framed for him last year as one of his presents:

Suggestions have given me a few ideas - thanks
