Eurosport app doesn't work on LG TV

I recently bought a new 43" LG TV because our old TV wasn't quite as smart as it purported to be. The local homeless charity were delighted to have it.

My wife loves watching Eurosport for Tennis, Skiing and more. Having assured her everything would work wonderfully and that she could enjoy her Eurosport subscription on our wonderful new TV, we have run into problems.

Eurosport say their app will work on all Samsung TVs and most smart TVs. I thought LG would be a good bet for compatibility, but it doesn't seem to be. I can download the app, but when you go into it, the pages of whichever sport you want to watch just do not load, so Ms. Hairymonster is back in front of her PC to watch it.

I don't know whether it's the TV or the Eurosport app which isn't playing the game - I don't really know where/how to start trying to rectify this.

Does anyone have any ideas please? Thanks

they messed with eurosport player, and now its all on Eurosport app.

at the in laws i cant now find it on amazon fire stick etiher.

Might be something to do with the changes which are coming with the Eurosport & BT Sport brands disappearing.

It’s been killed off.

The content now lives on Discovery+ app. Which is similarly st to use.

But we can still access it on our PC - why not on TV as well?
