Today it does feel right to be optimistic. Just ignore the forecast.

Central Thames Valley here, and the BBC forecast is for nothing more than 12 degrees all next week. And nothing much above that this week either. I flipped my central heating to "off" with a big smug grin over the weekend, I expect it'll have to go on again next week. Sigh.

Sorry, but not much sign of any summer sun/optimism here yet.

Be grateful we're getting 12 - south will be much warmer than the north next week.

Yeesh. Poor sods.

Remember the first lockdown spring? Glorious, unbroken sunshine for what seemed like months. I remember gazing at it through the window...now this.

HERE WE GO! party

Very late one this year, and as mentioned it feels cool down south. Still I’ll take 15° though. It’s the lows of 1° throughout the week I don’t like the look of.

Funny place to be warmest.

Lovely the past couple of hours in Yorkshire but a big cloud came over the sun just now. Was quite warm but grey until about 3:00

Lovely sunny day in Kent even if the temperature wasn't high (13C). Cut the grass, painted some fence panels and did a general bit of tidying up in the garden.

Being retired has it's advantages smile

SW...Is it ever going to stop raining. I know today was just drizzle...but it's really depressing.

After a grim start, today turned out lovely, so I popped up to the archery club after work, and at 5:30 it was still 17 degrees. The slight breeze did take the edge of the warmth though.

Was decent today, no hoody on since 6.30am.

Training in gym after work was very "muggy".

Had the window open in my home office today, and for once it didn’t feel like heat was escaping. Pleasant.

Looks like it's going to be the first 'shorts on' day of the year for me, almost three weeks later than usual.
