I've got some lovely Ted Baker ones that my wife got me for Christmas. Bloomin lovely. Leather and suede type outer with a fluffy interior.

slippers that will last a long time.
What do you mean by a long time? Slippers don't seem to last more than 9-12 months for me, whether cheap or expensive, just knocking about the house, not used outdoor for running marathons.Their typical lifespan seems short to me, how long should one expect?

Hotter slippers may not be trendy, but they're very good.

My first pair of Lanner Ridge’s lasted 5 years of daily use, they never wore out but just started to look a bit tired after all the years. Im now two years into my second pair.
Really comfortable and good value for the money.
