Some good ones on this site; Shaw Tarse, Shy Torque and so on.

Mike Oxlong, Hugh Janus etc.

Any others people know of that I could purloin?

Cheers!

Not from local facebook groups - but I believe this is a real person, we had someone working in an offshore team for a company I worked for of the same name that caused much merriment and also an enforced name change, as customers were getting correspondence from what they (justifiably) assumed was a joke name...

Told this tale before but I was in the Blackbird pub in Ponteland, probably late 1970's or early 80's. Guy walks in, I assume he hasn't been in for a while and the barmaid shouts out "Mike Hunt". Entire bar turns to look at her as she goes bright red and shouts "that's his name, honest, that's his name"

Once worked with a sales guy who wasn't the sharpest tool in the box.

We once "took a message" for a new business lead for him when he was on lunch and he rang them back.

He didn't even register that it was Chester Zoo that picked up as he asked for Mr C Lion

What made it even better was pulling the same trick on him 2 weeks later, although this time it was Mr G Raff

Crispin Dry? Presumably likes to be well-oiled.

Trying to think of a first name ending with 'f' so it could go with Ucker.
