Help needed with a laz-y-spa
Discussion
We bought a second hand laz-z-spa yesterday and think it is missing some parts for connecting the pump to the spa or we are incredibly stupid. The seller is adamant that it has all the parts. They received it as gift and never used it, so I guess they wouldn’t really know. Google doesn’t help much either.
These were screwed onto the inlets on the hot tub, but there doesn’t seem any way to attach them to the pump pipes.

I think it may be missing these parts?

You need to ask on the council forum. With this sunny weather they’ll be setting them up in their long grass as I write.
We don’t have any grass on the roof terrace of our Spanish penthouse

"The seller is adamant that all the parts are present" translates to :
You have no chance of getting your money back matey, we have spent in on a new spa to replace the broken one that some mug has just collected!
Oh I’m under no illusions of that. I just need to know whether we’re just being motor morons (wouldn’t be the first time, but I don’t think so in this case) or whether it’s missing a couple of cheap parts that I need to order. He did at least deliver You have no chance of getting your money back matey, we have spent in on a new spa to replace the broken one that some mug has just collected!

Thanks. I managed to sort it. The parts were right, but when they dismantled it they’ve pulled the connectors out of the pump tubes instead of just unscrewing them from the tub tubes, like you’re supposed to do. With a bit of heat and brute force I managed to get them back in the tubes. It’s now filled up and heating up ready to use later today.

Thanks. Funnily enough this isn’t my first inflatable sex pond rodeo. We’ve got one at home too, but bought that new and it just worked. NB my Swiss roof terrace also doesn’t have any grass to get long
not sure I get the council snobbery thing about them tbh, but I haven’t lived in the U.K. for 15 years. eyebeebe said:
