Well seems we are having a baby.

Both of us are so excited.
All being well, due in January.
Been a few years since the last child, so some brushing up learning to do.

Congrats.

Four years between ours. You soon pick it up again.

However if someone suggested having 2 because it is like having 1.5 kids then disown that person from your life now…. :-)

Mine are 17 1/2 and 13 /12. Very different challenges as time goes by. Eldest now has a boyfriend 90 miles away and it was a leap of faith seeing her off on the train to go see him. Now it's a weekly thing, him up here and her down there.

Same here age wise, the eldest has a "girl friend" in Rotterdam and sending him off by himself to stay with her and her family - we've done a few Zoom sessions just to satisfy ourselves we're not sending him to something too dodgy smile

Congratulations, OP. Just remember that when you look at somebody else’s baby you think you’d have no idea how to look after it (even if you’ve done it before) but when the baby is yours you’ll know exactly what to do. Good luck!

We had a few messages with his mum to get the lay of the land. They had the same concerns as us which was good. We've since met them at their house and it was great.

And don't forget, don't heap pressure on yourself by being led by "this is what you must do", but by listening to "this is what worked for us, make your own mind up"

Thank you,
It has took us almost 10 years to get to this stage.
I have an awesome wife.
I will stay at home full time, while her will go back to work after a month at home.
Her earns double my wage, so win - win for all 3 of us .

14 year gap is impressive, congratulations.
Well done,
You must be so happy.

14 years is a bit less than my mammoth mountain of 40 year gap.

She tells you those details? Blimey that is too much information. You must have a very open family.

I got that reference biggrin

Congrats - whats the gap. 10 years between our eldest two and the youngest. The 'wouldn't it be nice to have another, no what on earth for, oops I'm pregnant...' chat...

Still all grown up and left home now...
