I know I’m biased but farming doesn’t half make up for being a hard life when you get to see views like this every day!
Lovely.Being the mid 30s, overweight, balding office drone that I am, I often wonder if farming is a career that can be moved into later in life, or is being born into it and starting from a young age really the only way?

I lived next to a farm as a young lad and started helping on it when I was 11/12. Had a mini break when in my mid 20’s for 5 years working for Honda building cars, was mind numbingly depressing, took a huge pay cut and doubled my hours to get back into farming and have never looked back,it is hard to get into it at your age as most of the job is learnt from experiencing it,still learn something everyday ! Just got a fancy new fender and first time I’ve had to use an instruction manual! That's what I thought. I do not relish the idea of another 30 years of what I am doing now.By fender did you mean Fendt?

Clarkson said similar on Clarkson Farm. It was hard to disagree.I spend most of my working life in IT under fluorescent lighting.
Sunshine was something you got to see in your lunch break.
