To try and answer your question about what number you need that when 22% is deducted giving you 8346, you need to raise 8346 by 78% to give you the final number across this three number calculation.
So 8346 divided by 0.78 = 10700
10700 times by 0.22 = 8346
This is a very easy way of working out percentages either way.
I have helped people with discalculus problems before and have tried to listen to your actual question. The answer is a simple number that other people have given you. I am not saying you have discalculus I just used past experience to try and explain a question that might not just be "a maths question".

Not sure you've worded that well. Raising 8346 by 78% gives £14,855.88To try and answer your question about what number you need that when 22% is deducted giving you 8346, you need to raise 8346 by 78% to give you the final number across this three number calculation.
8346 is 78% of the number you want to find. So divide it by 78 and multiply it by 100.
