Wish to be cool uncle Dan who would like to spoil his nephew rotten because what else are Uncles for? His 2nd birthday is coming up. What can I buy him that will begin the journey as favourite Uncle?

Just be aware, you are setting a precedent that will be dangerous to your wallet as they will have an expectation in the future that Uncle Dan's presents will be brilliant.

Not saying don't do it but be aware of the future consequences.

My nephew is now 14 and a right little sod.

My Grandson , just a couple of months over two now has got really into Hot wheels cars . Fairly cheap so you can buy a few loads of stuff goes with them , garages, tracks, all sorts

I have got quite into it too

Buy the real stuff not cheap copies as the car seems to go into the mouth quite often , don't want any wheels coming off

Premium Bonds, can add to them every year, and a chance of a nice windfall that could set him up when he's old enough to take control of his life.

This. A drum. His parents are obviously not going to buy him one and they love smashing a drum.

I wouldn’t go overboard, he’ll be more interested in the box than whatever is inside it. Save it til he’s 3.
