Watching The Met on BBC1 and I assume others must have noticed that without fail how many of these real life police/crime TV programmes feature suspects that are not what would be classed as white British as it’s pretty much every episode of every series. Are these programmes reflective of real crime rates or are the national broadcasters deliberately showing these groups in a bad light?

God. This is like gammon fishing with TNT. Strap in, once they’ve finished commenting on cyclists riding two abreast, Brand being a ‘jack the lad’ and Sevenoaks going downhill you’re going to be inundated.

Obviously that was your intention. All of the figures you crave are a google away.

There's already a thread about the show itself if you want to discuss that - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Otherwise this looks like a typical "i can't post in NP&E due to the restrictions so i'll post in The Lounge instead, then sit back and see what sort of bites i get".
