I just wondered whether anyone had found anything particularly cool, quirky or interesting as a Christmas present for family, friends, the other half or indeed anyone really?

I thought it might be helpful to pool ideas! (And sorry, but so far I have none, but will update the thread if I do come across something that fits the above).

I can heartily recommend the Otamotone as well.

Maybe a selection, and entertain yourselves with a little st-instrument orchestra trying to do carols.

We did that one year after Christmas lunch, everyone round the table was given either a kazoo or a swanee whistle - 15 of them make a helluva noise!

You want suggestions for presents for people we don’t know anything about.

A horse.
A bucket
Potatoes
Cat litter.

I'd never heard of an Otamatone before.

Loved this video linked from their website.

If you've got any kind of garden a fruit tree is never a bad gift. From about £40.00, just plant and watch it do its thing over the seasons.

Nope, I'm just suggesting that if anyone has come across anything that they think 'hey, that's a pretty cool gift', why not share it?

Odd post.

Odd post.
Different people find different things "cool". It's hard to guess what somebody might find cool without knowing them, their interests, their hobbies.....

Great shout!

Never heard of these before, but Mrs Safari would love them.
