I've got a parcel I need to return to AliExpress, they've given me an address that doesn't make sense to me.

UK1 00000
Industrial Estate
Billingborough
Lincolnshire
NG34 0QU

The UK1 00000 is what's throwing me. Will a courier know what this is? When I attempt to book it on a courier website it gives me a list of unit numbers for the industrial estate. It's expensive so don't want to risk it going missing. I tried to clear it up with their customer services but they haven't got a clue what I'm trying to explain to them.

There is a company called 'Worldwide Logistics Group' on West Road, otherwise it looks very residential according to Streetview.

Edit - Oops, beaten to it.

^ I was about to post the same. There's a number for them on google maps if you click the business name, I'd personally be ringing them and asking if they handle Ali Express returns, then explain the situation and see what they say.

I think that's the address I sent an item back. It was less than £20 and in truth I wasn't going to bother although I'd heard with some things they just refund straight away without the need to return so when I went through the return process expecting an address in China a UK address popped up. Anyway sent it off and a few days later refunded. Not bad considering I'd butchered to item trying to make it fit!

Thanks for the replies, I had seen the World Wide Logistics was at the postcode, I did email them but had no reply. I was reluctent to directly address it to them as it might just get lost/binned/stolen.

It's £90. Had something else a few weeks back that was £30 and got put off sending it back due to this address not making sense to me.

Did you add World Wide Logistics to the address or just UK1 00000?

Hey, I found this post from a google search. I bought something a week ago and need to return it. I got the same address, but different company, not aliexpress. Just wondering if the return went smoothly?

yes add it in the address. It’s likely a freight forwarder with this as the recipients identifier.

Pretty sure I've seen this name on items I've bought from AliExpress so I assume they handle their parcels. Weird address but seems legitimate.

As an update, I returned some T10 LED lamps to the address as they claimed to be Canbus compliant and they weren’t.

Return postage was supposed to be refunded by Ali too.

So I paid £2.70 for the return via a tracked Royal Mail service and posted them off.

I could see they were sent to the Nottingham mail centre….twice, then the parcel was returned to me with “Null Address” written on it.

Royal Mail do not recognise this address.

I contacted them again in their website without a response, so then filed a claim via PayPal. PayPal upheld my claim and refunded me, so I lost the £2.70.

Then I received a message from them basically saying I would be banned if I repeated that again?

Extremely bad, I would never expect a refund from them in future if anything is faulty or doesn’t work as it should.
