The good news thread

With all the doom and gloom in the news, the back biting and spitefulness here on PH, I think it's about time for some good news. It doesn't have be 'news', just something positive in life. Whether you have a new baby or home on the way or some joy to share, let's hear it. Positive replies to people's posts are also welcome.

For me...it's a new black sprocker puppy, what a beauty. Bringing us hours of joy.

Two I read in the news, finally a few 'worthy' winners of New Year's honours. Obviously Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield, but also Rizwan Javed (suicide prevention on the railsways) and Tony Hudgell(9 year old who has raised £1.8m for chilb abuse charities, after suffering himself).

After getting Cristmas bad news (see other thread)

Watching decent videos on Youtube of people helping others, spreads joy and care for others.
Rudan roofing is one I found yesterday.

Also watching Henry and his love for any toy

Checking the bank I noticed a payment in Green from HMRC that was a refund for 200 odd quid on the 21st....

The individuals were serving in the RAF, hence their name which is RAF slang for low flying.
