It seems like social media is flooded with these things. They tend to be a clip from a movie or TV show re-contextualised by a caption. The ones that start with “Nobody:” are particularly annoying. When will this trend die out?

At least the line drawings of furious faces have started to die out as people realise they were never funny.
And yes, I realise someone will now post them to be hilarious.

For as long as the internet has existed, people have used these types of references with the fashionable ones changing over time. It’s just there’s more widespread awareness and use, and they will never stop, just adapt.
