Afternoon everyone.
Couple of Friends went to see Prof. Brian Cox in Cardiff last night, loved it. They'd always wanted to see him and weren't disappointed. They'd like to see more so I was wondering if anyone can suggest other similar events they could go and see?
If it helps or makes a difference we're based in Bristol.
Many thanks, Simon.

The Royal Geographical Society has a really good lecture series- split between Kensington Gore, the headquarters, and a regional series, and they’re all/mostly available online too.
There’s a wide ranging amount of stuff covered and some very inspirational people and work. Might be worth a look.

Depending upon your interests, the Royal Aeronautical Socety and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (and presumably the other engineering institutions) do various lectures at their regional branches. Most are free to get in as well.
IET (I'm electronics) do this too. They had one about recreating an extinct Gresley P2 steam engine. Same crew who succeeded with Tornado.Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
