How have you changed how you get even?
Discussion
Doesn't matter the slight.
Doesn't matter the money.
How do you currently get even?
I start this believing that in the moment "getting even" sometimes doesn't over many years. I start this also believing solving something is much better than arriving at "getting even".
Do you "knock them out".
Do you secretly cause them some "personal property/financial harm" without the recipient knowing that is was you?
Do you "follow the law" and if that doesn't work out how you think it should, you think it is complicated shrug your shoulders?
For me when I was young I followed the Clarkson mantra "hit it with a hammer".
Sometimes a hammer breaks things.
People get stuck in a moment. I hope I can move beyond a moment and not worry about past wrongs for a current "eveness".

Ignore it.
Seriously.
This is what age teaches you. If you seek vengeance for something, the other party will almost always retaliate back. So then what - get even some more?
If you've been wronged, take pleasure in the fact that you now know the other person is a t
t and that you are not and move on. Life is much better when you do.
Clearly there are examples where this may not be in your best interests but in those cases, following the route of legal redress is generally the most fruitful course of action.

I always obey the law and I am very patient. Depending on what has been done to me or mine will influence the amount and speed of the retribution. As long as I know that I have got my own back I am not worried if the offending party knows where the payback has come from. Likewise, if people are good to me and mine, then I am good to them.
Treat people as you would like to be treated is a good way to live. I try to do this.

Isn't it the time honoured PH tradition to do this?

I try not to hold resentments nowadays, they aren't productive for your soul.
In Romans 12:19, God tells us to never take revenge and to leave it to the Lord.
Which is OK, peace and love dandy dinmont, but, if we left everything
for the the Lord to fix, f
k all would get doneRandy Winkman said:

I've grown out of that.https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Now, I focus on improving my life such that those who have slighted me aren't even visible in my metaphorical rear view mirror.
