Accomodation for students - London

Friend of mine from US is sending his daughter to LSE this year... but they have lost out on flat and want me (In UK) to make some enquireies.

Is there a good website for this sort of stuff? Not done this before and bit wary of scame etc.

Yes, spareroom.co.uk is a good shout. Also, LSE has its own halls, or can help finding a privately rented place.

Both my daughters have flats in London (Zone 1 & Zone 2)
Its a hugely competitive mkt, they both had to put down offers on first viewings (and then 6 months rent in advance).

Both have single bedroom flats (Ok but not mega) - £1,500 and £2,000 a month.

Roomshares might be easier.
