Saw this in a shop window and it reminded me of Sean Lock. It must be quite a few years since he died but I keep getting clips of him on my SM feed. It really was a great loss to British comedy when he died.

The only two celebrity deaths that upset me were those of Rik Mayall and Sean Lock. Both lives were cut short and this feeling of so much good work left undone.

He seems like he was ill when this was recorded, which would make it more poignant (but still bloody funny).

Sean Lock was pretty much the only "celeb" death that upset me, his comedy had me crying with laughter so many times. My favourite thing he ever did was the "rectum of the year" story he did on cats does countdown. he actually had Claudia Winkleman asking him to stop talking because she couldn't take any more. I could not breathe the first time I saw it, I could not believe what he had just said and it was so absurd and funny it caught me utterly off guard.

He was a genius, and I miss him.

Saw him at the comedy cafe, rivington st, in the 90's; I don't think I've ever laughed so much at a gooned karate tiger routine rofl

He really was great and such a sad loss. I'm gutted I never got to seem his stand up live, unique and apparently able to make all the other comedians laugh. Which is certainly evident when you see him on Countdown!

Saw this when it was broadcast. Almost died laughing - especially the last bit!
