I used to just avoid the nut job groups on FB but more and more now there is nonsense like this being "pushed" at me.

Its invariably some incredibly weird AI picture involving Jesus or some sort of religious angst. Rather weirdly many of them seem to involved airline stewardesses posing with Jesus

They usually come with some banal commentary like "Why do pictures like this never trend?"

Invariably people seem to take them very seriously.

I block the sender but these are relentless...

It's just bots re-posting AI-generated crap based on whatever talking points the bot farms want to push

The Twitter ‘For you’ section is just the same.

Full of mental.

Any way to stop it? Its literally about every 10th post on my feed. Completely polluting it.

And the more you look at these types of things, the more garbage it'll try and give you! FB loves to pick a topic you may have looked at out of curiosity and next you know your feed is littered with garbage.

I have no interest in Hawk Tuah, Leeds United, or gambling. Facebook obviously thinks I have though, no matter how many times I click the button saying “See less of crap like this”.

You need to use the "Feeds" functionality to avoid all this crap.
They keep moving it around to try and force you to swallow this recommended crap, but seek it out.

It's a tactic to see who puts up with it, once all of the sensible people have abandoned the platform then they know the remaining ones are gullible and easy to scam for money.

I quit FB altogether sometime ago for similar reasons. It’s just BS now.

Cancel your Facebook account and don't look back. Seriously. It's not going to get any better frown

Kept FB messenger as I have a few old group chats etc on there but never actually go on FB itself any longer. My 'feed' is filled with stuff from people I don't know so what's the point ?
