Has anyone noticed this?

Over the past few years it's become increasingly apparent that people - mostly who i'd deem middle class southerners - are talking in a peculiar manner. For example, the word 'thirty' has tuned into 'thutty', or 'fourty' has become 'foddy'. This applies to all ages. What's going on?

I first heard this from someone at work around 5 years ago. I was thinking why's he talking funny? He's from Slough... oh wait.

I've heard this a lot on Youtube. I recently heard a family member pronounce a word in such a way.

I've noticed some people now spell forty in a strange way as well.
