If you click on the 3 dots on the profile page, one of the options is "report profile". I've just done it, but probably need as many reports as possible.

No point in reporting it to Facebook, they could not care less and allow things like this to continue, to the point that you would think they were complicit. 100,000 people could report it and nothing would happen. That page has been active for 9 months and will be so indefinitely. Same goes for all the scam adverts/profiles.

However, if you have a business page with them, have paid advertisements and use a random word like "hung", "Pig" or "Megadrive" in normal fashion, the bots will shut down your entire page and ban you advertising for life. You can appeal, like me, but again, this is run by bots so you won't get anywhere and will receive an instant decision which confirms the ban.

Don't waste your time. Ive reported several on IG and they always respond to say the advert has not been removed etc etc etc.

You’d thing the dvla etc would have people snooping for stuff but if they are they seem powerless

Chances are these are like the "MOT PASS £100" ads where you pay your money and don't get your MOT or driving licence.

After you've paid your money then it's not like you can report it to the police as you've also likely committed a crime.

Me too. With the exact same results. And like the poster above, I've had temporary bans for posting things that the bot system doesn't understand (sarcasm mostly biggrin ) and when you appeal it, again instant "we looked at your still banned"

But report Turkish companies selling fake Moncler jackets, or as I once saw, a CCTV video from China of a man with mental problems viciously attacking a passing child rendering him at best unconscious, worst killed! eek

and its "didn't break our guidelines"

I genuinely think Meta is THE worst company on the planet. Worse even that the Cigarette companies in terms of the damage it causes the populations. Bullying, low self steem, mental anxiety etc etc

It makes an absolute mockery when that complete see you next tuesday Zuckerberg sits in front of congress saying he cares about the content on his platform. And Nick fking Clegg can get in the bin too for his role in that stshow

It'll never happen obviously, but if Starmer banned Meta from the UK. It would be the one good thing he ever did

I kept reporting advertisements for weapons that are illegal in the UK - flick knives, saps, extending batons . . .

Never taken down - ironically, because I lingered are read the adverts, the algorithms gave me more. In some cases I would judge Facebook itself was breaking the law, where the advert glamourised the use of knives.

I reported to Trading Standards wherever in North London their registered office is/was . . . and never heard back.

The page has been removed by Facebook. It appears all the reporting of the page worked - this time!

Given my experience is the same as the above posters, then I'm surprised!

I've stopped bothering to report scams in FB Marketplace or profiles. I will still "report to admin" if there's a spammy or scammy post as it's usually a human like us who gives a st about scumbags in their FB group.
