Something I want is not available in the UK (£200ish)

I've found it online in Germany*, but the seller doesn't do international shipping.

So I'm considering using a dropshipper if anyone knows one. Also one that's not going to take a month to forward it on! laugh

Not worried about getting hit for customs or anything. If I have to pay. I pay.

*(and also Holland. Might try France/Spain in due course if needed)

You might be looking for a forwarding agent, not a drop shipper as such. I don't know what you'd call them in the UK - EU forwarding agent? Other than that you can get companies such as DHL to pick up from the sender for you.

A drop-shipper sells you whatever it is and they don't actually hold the inventory - the seller (upon the sale to you) then directs their supplier to send the item directly to you.

There’s plenty of small van Uk based company’s all over Europe picking up and delivering stuff. I’m sure you could get it collected as a part load.

Do you know any Polish people?

If so, ask them, as there’s a high chance they will know someone who regularly drives goods to and from the UK, and could get it en-route.

My wife regularly uses these kinds of “couriers” to get things to Poland or bring things over.

myukhub.co.uk or shipGerman.com

Haven’t used either, but I use similar regularly from all over to uae.

Alternatively just use the likes of dhl to collect it from the seller.

I’ve used Shippn a couple of times in a similar situation. The have a buy for me service where they purchase it for you, have it shipped to someone local who then forwards it on to you. The whole process is quick and worked well but it can get expensive as you’re paying two lots of shipping and fees/duties etc on top of that. I think in the end it almost worked out double the price of the item I was buying.
