Laptop/overnight bag

[Gone a bit AMG]

Looking for recommendations similar to the above, ideally a combination back pack/ laptop bag that can be wheeled aswell. The above fits the bill but looking for alternatives

If it’s just one night away, then unless you’re taking heavy gear or need to do a full change of a suit, then you’ll easily be able to manage with a backpack and dispense with the need for wheels as that adds weight and steals space with the handle mechanism. I’d say 25 litres would be fine.

If I'm going to London I now use a Lowe Alpine Phase 32l in black.

It's very well made, comfortable, lots of pockets. I use packing cubes to keep all my personal stuff separate and can get all my work stuff in it, plus 2 days clothes (if packing slightly minimally!) and gym gear if I'm mindful of how much footwear I'm taking. Downside - I'm conscious that it's slightly deep when on the tube but you can cinch it in to make it as small as you can and I just take it off as needed (or stand by the doors on the tube at the end of the carriage).

For overnight flights or when I'm driving, I use a small Samsonite case or an Eastpak Transit and a laptop sleeve.

Im doing trip to Prague shortly and taking a 30L rucksack. Three nights but no laptop, should be fine for space/clothes etc.

I'd go new, but there are some good deal on second hand out there. Just need to be careful of fakes.

How much

No need for wheels if just a night or 2.

I use a Crumpler Track Jack Board Backpack, well designed with just the right amount of storage. I've used it pretty much weekly for the last 5-6 years and it looks as good as new.
