In my mind this place is by and large male. I've heard it described as mum's net for men.

So I wondered if it really is 99+ percent men as I imagine or how does the split sit?!

Mumsnet isn't just for women incidentally. It's a very good parenting resource for dads too.

Outside of that, also gives you a good insight into women's brains. Quite scary sometimes, but it can also enhance your relationship(s) as their actions make a bit more sense considered that way.

Yeah you make a good point and I'd go further than that. I'm not even a parent but I've found it helpful for things or just to have a nose around! The names a little misleading but it has evolved since it's inception I guess.

'Other' is actually quite offensive. The remaining 70 genders shouldn't be bundled together and made to feel less important just because they are less common.
