Smart car trailer?

Does anyone recall of this is a smart car trailer?



I spotted it locally and I’m sure they flogged official smart car branded trailers when I was a kid.

I can’t seem to find any evidence of it online mind, might be going crazy

As the Smart car isn’t homologated by the manufacturer for towing I very much doubt it would have been official if at all.

You could buy a cheap 4x4 and a trailer to tow the Smart Car!
