Years ago my old dear found a dead cat between the car and garage door when she rolled off the drive one morning. The general consensus was it must have been struck on the main road and slunk away to die in peace. Phoned council and they said chuck it in the wheelie bin and they'll collect it later that day...

Couple days later and a fella rocks up the front door enquiring about a cat that was found nearby, he was devastated to hear that it had died but pressed for a description of the cat.

My Mum goes, "What? Like what did it look like before it was hit by a car?"

"...Yes?"

She enthusiastically stated "Probably looked like this!" and did her best impression of a cat trying to jump out of the way of a car.
