Best ways to express surprise

Bit random but came to me. My old dad used to express surprise by saying I'll go to the foot of our stairs.

Few years ago in Dallas Shania Twain concert at the Cowboys stadium. She came bounding onto the stage in a Cowboys shirt which she was wearing as a dress. Let's just say she looked good.

Guy next to me took his cowboy hat off and said well shut mah (Texas accent) mouth. His woman looked at him and I thought you're a dead man mate.

I tend to say stone the crows. Im sure somebody here has a really good way to express surprise.

Gosh - if in polite society.

Which isn't often so - fk me gets used a lot.

I was quite surprised in Greece last week, walking back from the beach, looking up and enjoying the mountain, sky and sea view.

Not noticing there was a 12" hole in one of the planks making up the wooden bridge we were crossing.

All of a sudden one leg was through the hole and I was instantly 3 feet shorter in height.

"fkin' 'ell!" was the only thing to loudly come out of my mouth.

Only a graze to my left knee, but could have been worse.

I knew a girl that would say "Jeepers". I thought it was hilarious as I've only ever heard it said by Daphne in Scooby Doo

I've adopted some I picked up from Australians that I liked. I'm sure everyone already knows strewth and crikey of course, but there's also hooley dooley which rolls off the tongue nicely. That can pivot to the equally enjoyable Holy moly at the last second if needs be
