How and why has this become popular?

Okay, we know that a good ‘tache can be the manliest of facial statements. But something has gone amiss in translation.

It doesn’t help that the ‘tache in question, with slicked back hair, has for decades been the film maker’s shorthand for the beta male in any scene. We have been conditioned to know that any man wearing it will not steal your wife and be useless in a fight.

But it seems that the youth are actively embracing it.

Even Danny fking knees up Mother Brown Dyer was sporting one the other day.

If my not “getting” it makes me elderly and out of touch, so be it.

Explain to me someone. Has humanity dissolved to a point where this is acceptable?

Come to think of it there's at least 5 younger guys that have been sporting this porno tache at our office.

It's not a good look and not sure why it's come back.

I'll start to worry, when the women start to follow suit.

It's obvious the OP is unable to cultivate a manly 'tache and resorts to mockery of real men with a full Nietzsche.

It either as the OP says or a scrappy line of fuzz on the top lip with a mullet and a patagonia fleece from the late 90s.

No, no, no it's not that. Young men have been wearing them for about three years now, November or not.

The woman across the road's ex boyfriend had one. She's fit, he looked like Super Mario's less successful brother. She will have dumped him because of the 'tache, I am sure of it. That and she is in love with me.

Whats wrong with it?

I have a big handlebar moustache. It adds gravitas to a potato like head.

Facial hair needs a comeback.

Nothing wrong with facial hair, I've plenty of it. A handlebar is fine. It's the "ttty tache" that I don't approve of.

We get it. You find the idea of gay sex disgusting. We don't care what your orientation is.
