Couldn't immediately find a generic AI thread, but please send me that way if that's where this should be

I'm very late to the part, but after some chats with a mate over a pint yesterday, he made me realise that AI could be very helpful in lots of ways and I should start playing around with it.
So I signed up to Claude (I think that's the right name) and paid £1 for a week or something like that

Started a few conversations around work and things like that, then decided to see how it could help with a recent landscaping quote I've been given

I uploaded some pics of the current garden and it was good at very quickly giving me two mockups which looked vaguely cool.

But now when I've asked for some tweaks or different ideas by giving some more input, it says it's making the image, then hours later still not done anything. I'm just left with this screen:

Not really sure what makes it get 'stuck' here? It would make sense if this was a way to get more ££ out of me and a message came up saying I need to upgrade my account etc, but nothing is being said.

ChatGPT and Grok are the 2 I use, for free. Both have saved me lots of time by giving me a starting point for work projects.

I have no complaints really of the images it HAS made for me, but I just don't understand why it has basically stopped working?

Maybe it’s decided that making pictures of your garden is boring and has gone off to plot the extermination of humans instead?

I have complaints... I tried to get ChatGPT to come up with some ideas for my garden. I took a photo from an upstairs window looking down the garden as it is currently, and uploaded it. Unfortunately, it saw the line of stones that run down one side as a path, and a couple of small patches of dead grass elsewhere where the damn cat keeps weeing on it, and decided that I must really like having blotches of yellow all over the lawn. Most of it's suggested designs had the grass looking like a green and yellow version of Mr Blobby's skin.

I wanted to mockup some garden privacy screen designs and found that Claude was unable to do this - it built me a web page with a 3D rendering of a wooden fence over my wall. I used Claude because I'm a paid up Claude Code user, but I just don't think this is what it does. Spent a few minutes on ChatGPT and got the renderings I wanted:

However, I tried to get ChatGPT to create a dimensioned drawing and a cut list for the timber and it just couldn't figure it out. I put the rendering into Claude and it managed to create a 2D plan with dimentions and a cut list biggrin

No such thing - but I did use the desktop app (which is the same as the web UI) to do this. I do some dumb st, but I didn't try to get Claude Code to generate a rendering of a garden biglaugh
